Al-Rayyan Sports Club chooses director11 to digitize its daily operations

director11 has recently announced a new partnership agreement with the Qatari soccer club Al-Rayyan Sports Club. Thus, director11, the 100% cloud-based software leader in soccer club management, enters the Middle East market with one of the best clubs in the region, several times champion of Asia.

The club was founded in 1967 after a merger between Rayyan and Nusoor Club and has since won numerous titles in both soccer and other sports. It has won the Qatar Stars League 8 times and the AFC Champions League 2 times, making it one of the most successful clubs in the country and in the Middle East.

Al-Rayyan is one of the most popular clubs in Qatar and enjoys the support of the entire Persian Gulf region as well as other parts of the world due to its high-profile signings. In 2010 it broke the attendance record of the Qatar Stars League and in the 2008/2009 and 2012/2013 seasons it won the title for the “best fan” in Qatar.

Its stadium – Ahmed bin Ali Stadium – is one of the 8 host venues for the World Cup in Qatar in December.

AL-RAYYAN GOES DIGITAL WITH DIRECTOR11

Faced with this prospect of growth, Al-Rayyan has chosen to rely on director11 to digitize its entire structure, both sporting and administrative.

For director11, the Middle East region is a market in full development, where clubs are evolving and professionalizing by leaps and bounds. But at the same time it is a challenge due to the great need to adapt.

Sergio Casalins, CEO of director11 says: “It is a real privilege to have Al Rayyan on our list of clubs that we are already helping on the road to digitization. More and more soccer clubs are realizing the importance of having an all-in-one management software, 100% in the cloud and multi-device because it simplifies management and enhances the club’s ability to work to achieve its goals”.

With this commitment to director11 technology as a basic tool for its digitization, the Qatari club aims to become the true benchmark for soccer in the Arabian Peninsula. Thanks to the improvement and optimization of processes in all areas, it hopes to be able to increase its revenues and thus attract new stars to its ranks, as it has already done with James Rodriguez.

All in all, this is an agreement between two very proactive entities, which we are sure will have fruitful benefits for both.
