Stored data are automatically copied in multiple physical locations as part of normal operation services, providing a maximum level of security against any unpredicted issues. We guarantee availability to our customers at any time.

Any information sent from our servers uses the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol and is delivered through the Internet with maximum security. This protocol ensures that all Internet-based data transmissions between a server and user, or vice versa, are completely safe. You can see that you are connected to a secure server by looking at the browser address “https”. The browser also allows us to revise information contained in the digital certificate.

The European Commission’s Directive on Data Protection came into force in October 1998; it prohibits the transfer of personal data to countries outside the European Union (EU). The U.S. Department of Commerce, after consulting with the European Commission, developed Safe Harbor Principles to provide entities with the information necessary to evaluate whether they wish to opt into the program.

Our servers are certified ISO 27001, and have successfully completed several SAS70 Type II audits. The ISO 27001/27002 is a global security standard that sets widespread and best practice requirements for a systematic approach to information management for companies and their customers. It is based on appropriate risk assessments in response to ever-changing potential threats.

Director11 servers are Level 1 PCI compliant under the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). The platform conforms to PCI Compliance Level 1 for storing, processing, and transmitting bank card information over the Internet.

Director11 servers have successfully completed a Statements on Auditing Standards number: Audit 70 (SAS70) Type II, obtaining a favorable opinion on impartial independent auditors. SAS70 certification implies that servers have undergone a thorough audit of controls related to performance and security in order to protect customer data.
