director11 at World Football Summit

director11 participates in the World Football Summit 2017, an initiative that allows to share the most current challenges and issues in the football industry.

On October 16th and 17th we attended the World Football Summit, an event that brought together more than 2000 professionals from the football industry, in which director11 participated with an Industry Talk led by our CEO, Julio Pernía, accompanied by Albert Valentin, deputy sports director of Olympique de Marseille.

During the conference, we talked about the possibilities of technology in the management of a football club and the advantages of integrating all the tools used by the different areas of the club in the same application, allowing the exploitation and analysis of the data at all levels. For his part, Albert shared the vision from the point of view of the clubs in which he has professionally developed, such as FC Barcelona. According to his own words: “The most important part in the management of a football club, is collective knowledge.”

During the two days of the meeting, more than 90 speakers from the largest exponents of the football industry took part in the discussion of current issues such as TV rights, monetization, cybersecurity, taxation, or fan engagement systems and their monetization for clubs. Among others, we could enjoy the presentations of Javier Sobrino ━strategic planning and innovation director of FC Barcelona━, Miguel Ángel Gil ━CEO of Atlético de Madrid━ or Javier Tebas ━president of LaLiga━.

From director11 we are delighted to be part of an initiative that allows us to share the most current challenges and topics in the world of football.
